Self-Troubleshoot
Qadence Support
Return to Qadence SupportThis guide of common Qadence errors can help you to self-troubleshoot or communicate more clearly with your support team when resolving an issue in Qadence. How to use this guide:
- You can view common errors by when you would experience them: during login, while Qadence is loading, or while using Qadence.
- Quickly search all errors by pressing Ctrl+F or Cmd+F on your PC or Mac keyboard, respectively.
During Login
Description:
Visiting or returning to Qadence shows a solid blue screen. This may occur if the app has been left open for some time or the SSO session has gone stale.
Actions:
- If the URL shows "/app", please remove this. For example, if the URL shows app.qadencebytqg.com/app, please remove "/app" and press Enter to force the app to return to the login page.
- Try opening Qadence in a private window session, such as Chrome In Cognito or Firefox Private Browsing. This ensures Qadence is operating in a "clean SSO" environment.
These terms of service ("Terms", "Agreement") are an agreement between the website ("Website operator", "us", "we" or "our") and you ("User", "you" or "your"). This Agreement sets forth the general terms and conditions of your use of this website and any of its products or services (collectively, "Website" or "Services").
Description:
When entering the URL, the browser doesn't seem to immediately load the app (blank page, browser spinning icon). This typically occurs when visiting the URL the first time, and the URL has not been fully entered.
Actions:
- Ensure you type the full URL, including the "https://". For example:
- Qadence, by TQG (TQG-managed): https://app.qadencebytqg.com
- Qadence Australia (TQG Australia pod): https://au.qadencebytqg.com
After Login / While Qadence is Loading
Description:
After sign-in, workbooks take longer than expected to load.
Actions:
- First, try refreshing the page, as this may be a temporary issue. If your workbooks and apps load much faster on the second load, then the long load time was due to initial cache build. Your subsequent visits or refreshes should be faster.
- If still slow, for due diligence, check that your internet connection is running as expected by running a speed test. If you find that your bandwidth is less than 2 Mbits/s or your experience errors on the speed test page you are using, please contact your IT support.
- If speed test passes, and Qadence is still running much slower than expected, please contact Qadence Support.
While Using Qadence
Description:
When opening a workbook or view, an error mentioning data source access, or permissions around data sources, appears.
Actions:
- Ask the Tableau Cloud site administrator or data source owner to grant the affected user the "Connect" permission for the published data source.
- Additional details and resolution options are found on Tableau Cloud's Knowledge Base on the error.
